Tagged
Amy tagged me back in October and I thought I'd escaped. Then my cousin tagged me again.
Here goes:
1. Rules of the game are posted at the beginning of post.
2. The player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves
3. At the end of the post the players then tags 6 other bloggers, and posts their names.
1. Interior Designer: Because I’m an interior designer I know what weird words like spandrel panel and F.R.P. mean. I’m guessing the only other people who will know what they are, with out a dictionary, are my dad and Brad. I also have issues with bad furniture arrangements. I can’t decide if it’s better to keep my mouth shut or think of a tactful way to say something. (Don’t worry, I can’t think of any of you who will read this who have a bad arrangement.)
2. A while ago I heard some statistic on TV that drinking bottled water is killing our environment. Ever since then I’ve been saving all of my water bottles (including the ones I drink at work) to recycle them. Lately I’m expanded to milk jugs, dishwasher soap, etc.
3. One of my fears is posting too much information on the internet. With the days of identity theft and my observations watching 24, who knows what could happen. I won’t post my other fears because what if someone who hated me found them posted and tortured me with them. Needless to say this fear isn’t too helpful when it comes to blogging.
4. I have this thing with stocking up on things. We not only work on our food storage, we’re also stocked on laundry detergent, cleaners, toilet paper, etc. Before I got married I had enough furniture to fill a house. Before we bought our house I had enough accessories to accessorize the whole thing, stored in a closet. Even now I have a whole set of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, etc for when ours wear out (service for 6, there’s only two people in our family).
5. I’m typically short and to the point. I have a hard time with being wordy and I’m not that creative when it comes to writing. That’s why I’m going to end this post with five facts rather than six.
I tag Dyana, Kristina, Natalie, Holli, Emilee, and Shan. Even though Nettie doesn't have a blog I'd really love her to respond. I think her facts would be great!

Another Injury
Mark's ankle is mostly healed therefore he's back to basketball. This week he managed to get elbowed in the head and thinks he may have broken his jaw. I told him he's not allowed to play any more. Before you know it I'll be married to a cripple.

Update
I know, I know, it's definitely time for a blog update. The last few months have been eventful. Mark started a new job, which he really likes. My job was as crazy as ever. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary (Mark is still an awesome husband). We attended the many family events that accompany the holidays. We're still loving our new house. Mark is teaching gospel doctrine at church. His ankle is mostly healed although he complains about not being able to jump as well when playing basketball. I'm not too good at the wordy descriptive stuff but I am working on my 2007 picture book. You'll have to take a look, the pictures are much more descriptive than I am. We've enjoyed checking out all of your blogs and spending time with many of you. Our best wishes for the new year.

Mark's Ankle
I dropped our camera at a construction site and it won't turn on any more. Our new one arrived just in time to take pictures of Mark's latest injury. At 7:00 Tuesday morning I received a call telling me that he thought he had broken his ankle. The doctors couldn't see anything on the x-rays they took because it was too swollen. We go to the specialist tomorrow. The worst thing is that I've been sick too. It's not too easy to take care of each other when one of you feels terrible and the other one can't walk. Thanks to the parents we survived. I guess we'll both see what's up tomorrow at the doctor.

Blogs
I first recieved an invitation to view a blog about a year ago. I received another one about six months later. I didn't really understand what they are until last week. Thanks to Nicole, Amy, Holli, and Nataile I've now jumped on the band-wagon. We'll see how it goes.
The Beginnings
Mark and Kim first met at Galyans Sporting Goods (Spring 2005).
Kim's first thoughts: He's cute, but he's not saying anything to me. He probably has a girlfriend.
What Mark was really thinking: Man that girl is CUTE, I can't say anything stupid.
Not too great for a first impression - Luckily they had a second chance.
About 5 Months Later:
Michelle (Mark's cousin/Kim's roommate) invited Mark to go to church with her and here roommates. Let's just say Mark didn't concentrate too much on the speakers. After church everyone seemed to think that Mark and Kim were hitting it off, (which they were) so they all left to take naps. At 10:00 p.m. Mark announced that he had better get going. He didn't want to wear out his welcome (13 hours later). Mark used institute as an excuse to get to know Kim better. After a few institute classes together he built up enough courage to ask her out.
First Date:
For their first date Mark took Kim to Park City to ride the Alpine Slide. On their way to Park City it started raining. Along with the rain came lightening - closing the Alpine Slide. Plans B and C were just as successful. When they went to look through shops they were all closet. When they tried to go to a movie none of them looked good. Despite the failed plans Mark and Kim had a great time together.
Mark went home thinking: I'm going to marry that girl. He told his mom that he was 95% sure that she was the one. . . . Now if he could only convince Kim.
They were married on December 27, 2005.
