Mark and Kim

When I was in college I had to write a paper about what I liked about the way my mom did things and what I would have changed. I remember writing that I wished my mom would have born her testimony to us more. Well, as I evaluate my life I can plainly see that I also need to express my testimony to my family more often. In effort to live up to my advice, given over five years ago, I share this small experience on the world wide web.

A few weeks ago we had stake conference. We were privileged to hear from Elder Lund, Elder Bednar, and President Eyring. I felt impressed to make three changes in my life. Mark and I discussed and made every effort to implement the new goals. It hasn't been too long but I can already see that we have been greatly blessed. I know that the Lord will let us know the things that we need to do to make it home to Him and that as we do them we are blessed beyond measure. I'm grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost and the ability we are given to listen to His promptings.

Updates of the Last Month

Here's a few photos of what we've been up to over the last month.

We planted our garden,

strawberries, and rasberries.

This is my attempt to be sassy at Michelle's wedding. I don't think pregnant and sassy go together.

I've had very few moments of creativity since I've been married but a few weeks ago I had an urge and wipped out 20 cards.
I spent a few weeks doing flower arrangements for the Parade of Homes.
My family spent the day in Idaho helping my grandma get the Lake House ready for the summer.
Although this picture may be the most boring it is one of the most exciting for me. There used to be a 5'x110' strip along this fence that was meant to be a flower garden. Well all it did was grow weeds. It took us 3 days of weeding just to get them all out. Well - no more weeds for us. That strip is now grass, thanks to Mark.
