Ham and Cheese

I wouldn't say I've had major cravings since I've been pregnant but I probably satisfy them more, using the excuse that pregnant people have cravings. One food combination that I've found especially tasty, in any form, is ham and cheese. Some days I find myself eating them at every meal and there's so many variations. I eat them in quesadillas, sandwiches, pizza, hot pockets, macaroni and cheese with ham, and more. Last week I ran out of cheese. I won't say it was the end of my world but it wasn't a happy moment. Yesterday we re-stocked the refrigerator for another happy week.

Mark's Ankle

Many of you know that following Mark's last ankle injury he didn't recover as well as hoped. On March 25th he got it all fixed. They took out bone spurs and scar tissue and shortened his stretched out ligament. His recovery is going well and his ankle should be as good as new in about 2 months. I've become more grateful for how much he helps around the house. With his bum ankle he can't do much and I get to do all that he used to do along with everything I do. I'm exhausted! We're grateful for modern day medicine.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

The battery in Mark's car died one day so I picked him up from work. As the lot is permit only I had to park a block away and help him cary his stuff to the car. I teased him asking him why he couldn't do it all himself and he replied "Don't you think I would look pretty funny riding my scooter across the street carrying my crutches?" I made him pose just so I could laugh at the image.

This is Mark and his grandpa who also just had foot surgery. Next time we'll ask for a group surgery rate.

The Real Reason

Here is the real reason that we haven't been up to much for the last three months. This little one takes up all of my energy. Due October 10th.
