Tagged Again. . .
1. What is your/his name? Kim and Mark
2. Who eats more? Probably me but hopefully not for long. I'm eating for two and Mark is doing Weight Watchers.
3. Who said I love you first? Mark.
4. Who is taller? He is.
5. Who is smarter? Overall I think he's smarter but I'm prbably more spatially smart.
6. Who is more sensitive? Me. Not sure if it's birth control before and being pregnant, but ever since we've been married I'm a bawl baby.
7. Who does the laundry? Mostly me. Mark does most/almost all of the yardwork.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me - we tried switching for a few nights last week since my side is closer to the cooler vent. It didn't work.
9. Who pays the bills? Me - Mark does our investing.
10. Who cooks more? Me, but Mark helps out a lot.
11. What meals do you cook together? The meals we prepare when both of us are home. Mark usually gets home just in time to eat.
12. Who is more stubborn? Me.
13. Who is first to admit when they are wrong? Not sure, probably Mark.
14. Who has more siblings? Mark. He has 4 I have 3.
15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I'll have to ask Mark about that one, I like to think we're pretty good at compromising. Probably me, since I'm more stubborn but I'd like to think it's Mark. . . . Mark said we both do but then smiled and said, well I guess you do because I like to be naked.
16. What do you like to do together? Anything - except watch tv, I get board and usually fall asleep on his lap (movies are good). We work together, play together, relax together, and laugh together.
17. Who eats more sweets? Lately, me.
18. Guilty pleasures? Mark - ice cream. Me - fries, corn dogs, donugts.
19. How did you meet? Mark's cousin Michelle invited him to come to our ward. He came looking for a new ward and got a girl friend/wife as well. After visiting for 13 hours on the first day he left saying he didn't want to wear out his welcome.
20. Who asked who out first? He did.
21. Who kissed who first? He did, caught me pretty off guard and I didn't kiss back until the third kiss.
22. Who proposed? He did.
23. What is your/his best feature? I really like his bum along with everything else. He has nice calfs too and he's been working on his biceps lately.
24. What is your/his best quality? I absolutely love Mark's laugh! When something is funny you'll know it by his laugh. It comes from deep down and you know it's not a courtesy laugh. He's also a very hard worker, does things quickly, and is laid back.
I tag Christine, Sue, Ashley, Holli, and Natalie.

Bear Lake
In July we spent a week at Bear Lake. Once we got home I realized that Mark and I didn't get a single picture together. It was probably due to the fact that Mark was out in the water, and being pregnant, I'm just not as fun as I used to be. We all had a great time.

Sand sculpture #2.

Mark gets so excited to ride the wave runners he forgot to check the size on the life jacket he grabbed. I had to pull pretty hard to get it off of him.

Sand sculpture #2.
Sand sculpture #3 - Mark and Brad thought this one was pretty funny. His back reads "Crack Kills". Mark suggested I post the second picture because I'd "get comments".

4th of July
For the 4th of July we went to the Kaysville Parade. They have a parade portion then a big water fight. I didn't believe Mark about the water fight at first but it's really true. They have big trucks spraying the audience and everything. It was a blast. Our First Baby Gift

This is our first baby gift from my sister Stacey. She bought our little guy shoes to match hers. I don't know what it is about baby shoes but they're so stinkin' cute!!

California

This is Mark eating the free continental breakfast. It wasn't that great but Mark ate it every morning because it was FREE.
A day at the beach - aren't they hot!
Dinner at Mid Evil Times.
Mark petting the dolphins at Sea World.
The Shamu show was much less cheesy than a few years ago.

When I was in college I had to write a paper about what I liked about the way my mom did things and what I would have changed. I remember writing that I wished my mom would have born her testimony to us more. Well, as I evaluate my life I can plainly see that I also need to express my testimony to my family more often. In effort to live up to my advice, given over five years ago, I share this small experience on the world wide web.
A few weeks ago we had stake conference. We were privileged to hear from Elder Lund, Elder Bednar, and President Eyring. I felt impressed to make three changes in my life. Mark and I discussed and made every effort to implement the new goals. It hasn't been too long but I can already see that we have been greatly blessed. I know that the Lord will let us know the things that we need to do to make it home to Him and that as we do them we are blessed beyond measure. I'm grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost and the ability we are given to listen to His promptings.

Updates of the Last Month
Here's a few photos of what we've been up to over the last month.

We planted our garden,

strawberries, and rasberries.

This is my attempt to be sassy at Michelle's wedding. I don't think pregnant and sassy go together.

I've had very few moments of creativity since I've been married but a few weeks ago I had an urge and wipped out 20 cards.
My family spent the day in Idaho helping my grandma get the Lake House ready for the summer.
Although this picture may be the most boring it is one of the most exciting for me. There used to be a 5'x110' strip along this fence that was meant to be a flower garden. Well all it did was grow weeds. It took us 3 days of weeding just to get them all out. Well - no more weeds for us. That strip is now grass, thanks to Mark.
