Early Christmas in Holden

Kim's whole family drove down to Holden, Utah for an early Christmas celebration. We had a great time. Kaden especially loved playing with the chickens, playing with aunt Stacey's dogs, and driving the tractor.

Brian is Going on a Mission

Now that Brian has grown a foot or two, he has been called on a mission to South Carolina. We are so proud of him, and love to hear about his experiences he is having on his mission.
Kaden didn't want to see Uncle Brian go, so he is trying to keep the car from going. Kaden will miss uncle Brian.

Halloween

For Halloween this year we tried to stay in character for our costumes. Kaden was a monster (he didn't need the costume), Mark was Frankenstein (he even limped like Frankenstein due to his surgical boots on both feet), and Kim was a pregnant cat (our little kitty will be born in January!).
Uncle Brian was a Harlem Globetrotter.
Uncle Jeff and Aunt Nicole were cool Marines.

Kaden loved the ward Halloween party and the neighborhood get together.
Here are the pumpkins Mark carved for Halloween.

Kaden's Second Birthday

Kaden turned 2 on October 20th.
He loved eating, throwing, playing, and rubbing cake all over himself and his parents.
Mark made this cake for Kaden. He accidentally put the oven rack in crooked. When the cake came out of the oven it was slanted. It looked really funny, until it inspired us to make this off roading Jeep cake. And no, the yellow stripes are not mustard.
Kaden loved his new bike he got from Grandma and Grandpa Caldwell. Thanks to everyone who got him a present.

Mom got caught on spit guard control.
"Next year Mom, I want a piece of cake this big!!"

Cherry Hill in the Fall

Before Halloween we took Kim's brother Brian to Cherry Hill to enjoy some miniature golfing, batting cages, and playing in the balls.

State Fair

We decided to take Kaden to the State Fair with Mark's brother Matt and his wife Stephanie. Kaden loved riding the pony, seeing all of the animals, and going down the slide with Uncle Matthew.

Trains, Trains, and More Trains

A day at the Caldwell house just wouldn't be complete without building multiple train tracks.

S&S Railroad

My cousin introduced us to a fun little railway station called S&S Railroad.
Kaden grinned from ear to ear the whole time. We rode a mini train. And a big train. Debbie, Eielie, and Emily.
